In this competition, the Chinese Football Association and the International Film and Game Industry cooperate across borders, jointly creating a new stage for national competition – the Bamboo Swordsmanship Tournament. This is a true esports feast. In this event, the two sides will engage in fierce competition, competing through a single round robin BO5 points system, and the team with the highest total points will replace the eliminated team and enter the playoffs. They will also receive 2 additional places in the A group second round match. The third round of the B group match will officially start in early December, with a total of 7 matches. The competition is divided into three stages. The third stage is a single round robin system. Players who destroy the opponent’s defense tower first within 4 minutes will advance to the next stage. In the first 6 rounds, if one player from each side dies due to a mistake and cannot participate again, the current round will end early; from the 9th to the 20th round, the side with more kills will win directly, and if all enemy defense towers are not destroyed from the 10th to the 15th round, they will lose early.
In addition, the competition will be divided into group stage, end of group stage, and group stage finals. The group stage starts at 19:00 every Tuesday to Saturday night, and the finals will be held after the end of the group stage. The final final will be a match between pairs. The lineups and strengths of the two teams are quite different. The rules of the competition are similar to before, with both sides using a five-game, four-win system. The showdown at the end of the group stage will adopt a five-game, three-win system; and the final final will also be a match between pairs. The eight teams that advance from each group will determine the final champion based on the results of the group stage.
