The official Weibo account of League of Legends LOL announced the launch of a new mode – “Team Selection Mode”. This mode is a new gameplay in “King of Glory” and is very different from traditional battle gameplay. Players can choose their favorite lineup, heroes, and runes in “Team Selection Mode”, and also customize the game mode, allowing players to freely choose which runes to use in battles, and then team up with other players for a match.
The official Weibo account of League of Legends LOL has announced the following update content:
1. New Mechanism: Team Selection Mode: Players can select each other between two chosen heroes. If a player fails to choose their desired hero, the system will default to the player’s most needed lineup. However, if the chosen hero is from the opposing lineup, the player can randomly select the lineup used by another player.
2. Hero adjustments: After this update, the system will provide all players with a hero adjustment. Players can save the adjustment plan for the next match.
3. Matchmaking rule changes: When players from both sides choose the same thing, players can enter “Quick Start” and “Quick End” before the match ends.

After a update on May 13th, LOL added the “Selection” feature. At the beginning of the game, both players from both sides will be randomly assigned to a pool of heroes. At the same time, players from both sides can also freely choose heroes to participate in matchmaking or ranked games. In the final stage of the match, players from both sides will randomly select one profession from all four professions and compete with their teammates. After the match ends, players from both sides will receive “Double Gold Coins”. In this update, players can also use the Golden Shovel to purchase heroes.
Now, the Team Selection Mode has been removed and replaced with “Solo Matchmaking”, where players can choose their familiar and skilled heroes to match with other players (if both sides want to play).
