The schedule for the 2021 League of Legends Summer Split has been announced, can EDG defend their champion title?
The 2022 LPL Spring Split playoffs of “League of Legends” are about to begin—the Summer Split matches will be divided into four stages. Starting from July 15th and ending on August 2nd, the Summer Split will be conducted in an eight-week round-robin (BO5) format. From July 13th to September 10th will be the first week of the group stage matches; September 11th to 12th will be the second week of the knockout stage matches; and finally, the 13th day will be the fourth week of the finals’ matches.
This postseason will take place from August 17th to September 19th, with one regular match taking place every two weeks, and three matches will be held from September 20th to November 24th. From June 1st to June 3rd, the regular matches will follow a single-elimination BO5 format, with the winners advancing to the next round and the losers being eliminated. From the end of July to early August, the matches will consist of four rounds of a BO4 round-robin format, with each round being a BO5 match.
【Group Stage, Week 1】July 21st to September 22nd, winners and losers will compete in two matches.
【Group Stage, Week 2】July 23rd to July 29th, once two matches are completed, they can enter the quarterfinals.
【Group Stage, Week 3】July 30th to July 31st, the four teams will compete in the round-robin of the quarterfinals. The winners will qualify for the semifinals and finals.
