In DNF, the Exile Mountains is a new activity gameplay: Exploration Mode, where you can obtain hidden treasure chests and mysterious mazes.
Hidden Treasure Chests:

Mysterious Mazes:

First, after entering the game, select the mini-map in the lower left corner to enter the map interface. Then, we can see a “war flag” in the upper left corner. Click on this war flag. Then, we can see four battle routes for everyone to choose from: mine, wild monsters, and miners.
Mine:
This campaign is mainly composed of four mines. The first one is the mine pit. There are two mine pits around the mine, and we can attack the enemy’s wilderness or mine from here.
The second one is wild monsters. Wild monsters are divided into ordinary monsters and elite monsters. Elite monsters will drop advanced equipment and advanced skill books. Ordinary monsters can also drop advanced equipment.
The third one is miners. The miner is the main attacker in the team. He can obtain advanced resources from the mine pit, but his health and defense are very low. Therefore, if you want to defeat him, it is best to find a tanky front-line character to withstand the damage.
In addition, there are some hidden locations in the mine, such as the underground passage in the mine factory, where there are many mine carts and rails. However, the mine carts are usually hidden behind the mine shaft.
Wild Monsters:
This campaign is similar to the mine pit, and it is also divided into two modes. They are barbarian invasion and tyrant invasion. When our team is in the tyrant invasion, the enemy will randomly spawn at four locations on the map. Killing the barbarians will randomly spawn a tyrant at one of the four locations on the map. After killing the tyrant, its attributes will increase, and its health and defense will also be enhanced.
In addition, there is no limit to the number of barbarian invasions. Each time we defeat an enemy, we can increase the invasion opportunity. After defeating the tyrant, we can choose to invade the wilderness or the mine pit.
Tyrant Invasion:
Tyrant invasion is a special gameplay in the game that requires cooperation among team members. It takes place in the central area of the wilderness. The tyrant can summon two tyrants. When the tyrant is defeated, it will enter a dark state and cannot move, but after attacking it, the tyrant will flee and receive a large amount of gold and experience rewards. Therefore, when we discover a tyrant invasion, we can kill it in advance to avoid being plundered by the tyrant.
