Bitcoin mining machines use the concept of blockchain technology for calculation, but it is different – Bitcoin mining is not based on ASIC chips or software, but on algorithms and programs to run a system, also known as “hash power machine”.
From the above figure, we can see that the S9 miner is a data center specifically used for mining virtual currencies. This graphics card is designed to allow miners to buy more tokens at a higher price, but its power consumption is very low. So what is this hardware? That would be the S11. The S10 has three main parameters:
1. The maximum value is 1M/T;2. The maximum value is 2G/W;3. The minimum unit is 4M;When using this special type of equipment, additional CPU capacity needs to be added;4. The lowest power consumption can reach around 5J/kWh.If you want to have a significant impact on the network, you must increase the power consumption. Therefore, it is recommended that users first purchase some small models dedicated to Bitcoin, such as the S17+ or other versions. Currently, in addition to the S19 series produced by major manufacturers such as Bitmain, Canaan, and Xindong, there is also the S7 series released by Samsung. These all adopt S9 technology and are optimized, including upgraded built-in fan protection and anti-theft functions, etc. (Image source: WeChat official account @Xiao Huangche)
S9h miner
Bitmain’s latest release, the S9 miner, has a total network hash rate of over 2000TH/S. According to official data, the total number of sold units for Bitmain’s Whatsminer M30S, M31S++, and Avalon A+ is 31,000, with an average price of around $5,000 (approximately RMB 4,500), which means that there is almost no profit to be made in a short period of time.
According to previous reports, on August 19th, Bitmain’s M10Pro, M20S, and M21 series have all been shipped and announced to be officially delivered to users in July. Currently, Bitmain is actively testing its latest mining algorithm: zcashv. (Huobi Blockchain)
